Thank you for Athletics Day

WALT: write with a specific audience in mind.

Dear helpers and parents:

Thank you for setting up for athletics day. We really appreciate  your effort on this day. It was a great opportunity to have you working for this day especially the parents. Thank you very much.

Athletics day is for fun and it's good for your health too. It gives you sportsmanship, challenges and much more. All of us need to give our body some more strength and energy. Every single one of us need to wear house clothes in every team except for the red team you can just wear your uniform but if you like you can just wear red clothes.

My favourite part at athletics day was the relays it was really challenging and you really have to put lots of effort on it. There was different kind of challenges as well as run, roll and jump. It was amazing.

I will try to run fast and sprints to become first place. So I can go to the finals and run to eastern tramps even though you need a lot of guts at it. So I can prove myself I'm fast in running.

I enjoyed doing discus because I love throwing the discs in my hand even though it's not that far enough. I learned that next time, I should learn how to throw better far enough.

Week 6 2017

Walt: write a recount about a personal experience.

Have you ever seen donkey kong the video game? Well now you can play that in Cool Maths Games. You can join us to play while were watching the prize giving of the year 5 Yesterday.

It's not only donkey kong you can play there's even more lots and lots of games. BANG BANG BANG. The year sixes were frightened.  DONKEY KONG came out of the banging door together with the barrels. IT WAS CRAZY.

Suddenly run a famous skill game came out. He is much bigger than I thought. And the fun part is we can control the characters by are chromebooks!  I even try to break the stage and let it come to me. It was super funny and cool. Anyway all of the teachers started to get mad because they were ruining the practice. One teacher were shouting at donkey kong so donkey kong just ate the teacher with a loud burp We all laugh. HaHahaha.

So we all scream and they all ran away and panic. Well that was a great moment I actually saw donkey kong and run and I was just playing them a minute ago.

I enjoy controlling the characters of the game. I learn that maybe I should always play cool maths games so the characters will come out. I would like to Thank You Ms Scanlan for letting us play cool maths games for 3 days.
