Slime Failure

While the Year 8 are at camp the

Year 7 decided to have some activities

like Slime making.

Me and my group was super excited.

So we went into room 5 and sat down on the table.

It was a big mess! There were heaps of shaving cream

on the floor and glue everywhere.

At that time, I already knew this was going to be a failure.

Ms Salu, our teacher gave us some instructions,

for how to make slime.

While were reading the instructions

I hear heaps of kids yelling because there excited.

I had to shout while talking to my group.

As so the craziness was over we went of

to get the ingredients,

I got the spoon and bowl and Kelly got the glue.

We were running all over the place to get the ingredients.

Me and Kelly keep on dumping several of stuff in the bowl.

I grab the borax and put in the bowl.

Kelly was shouting with excitement and said “OHHH!”

Its working.

But then it turns out it's just gone thicker.

Suddenly, I stop and think, how come this isn’t working?

In the videos I watch, it was functioning.

So Kelly decided to have a little test of the slime.

Sophia let's try to add some glue and borax together and

see if it worked. Said Kelly. Ok I said.

So we tried that and it still didn’t work we were shocked

and confused.

I think it's because of the glue Kelly said, Maybe I said,

so we tried several of the stuff to make the slime work.

Sadly it didn't work.

Kelly said I gave up, this will not work. I said why?

Let’s try something else. No said Kelly. So,

I just walked around to see if any of the other kids slime

is working,

actually it’s not only our slime is not working it's all of them.
There just dumb,

and think that the slime that

they made was fluffy slime but it's just playdoh.

10 Minutes and packing up time, yelled Ms Salu.

So I hurried and just steal some playdoh in the floor

and in the table to save it to myself.

Little while later we sat down in the floor and went off

to our next activity.

“That's Our Slime failure”

Inquiry Expo

Inquiry Expo

Hello and greetings, what you are about to read is Kelly, Lishana, Richard, and
Sophia’s Inquiry post which consists of our ideas and project about force and motion.
The reason they made us have this expo is to expose what we have learned and teach
that to the team 4 so they could learn as well.

When we had to think of ideas for our experiment, a couple of ideas came  to
our head like balloon cars and marshmallow catapults. We didn’t know what to pick but
Richard insisted on balloon cars.

So we decided to do the balloon cars, because another
team was doing the marshmallow catapult.
We were ready on the second day of preparation, we had all we needed were
the materials and our poster. Once we decided who was bringing what, we made a draft
for the poster.

At the day in our expo we gathered our materials and made our experiment.
Sadly it was fail. So Mr Wiseman went to our table and told us an idea of a
balloon rocket. So we tried that and see if it worked. Again it didn't work. I
was thinking of an idea to make this work. But all of our ideas didn’t even work
at all.

We could of been more organised thing more we should have done it in our free time to get things done before the Expo. I was disappointed that we didn't finish in time to do the Expo. We should have also been sure with the things we brought and should’ve known the specific type.
