While the Year 8 are at camp the year 7 decided to have some activities as well as Slime making. Me and my group was super excited. So we went into room 5 and sat down in the table. It was a big mess! There were heaps of shaving cream on the floor and glue everywhere.

At that time I already knew this was going to be a fail. Ms Salu, our teacher gave us some instructions for how to make slime. While were reading the instructions I hear heaps of kids yelling for happiness I had to shout while talking to my group.

As so the craziness was over me and Kelly went of to get the ingredients, I got the spoon and bowl and kelly got the glue. We were running all over the place to get the ingredients. Me and Kelly keep on dumping several of glue and shaving cream in the bowl.

 I grab the borax and put in the bowl. Kelly was shouting with excitement and said “OHHH!” Its working. But then it turns out it's just gone thicker. Suddenly I stop and think, how come this ain’t working? In the videos I watch it was working.

So Kelly decided to have a little test of the slime. Sophia let's try to add some glue and borax together and see if it worked. Said Kelly. Ok I said. So we tried that and it still didn’t work we were shocked and confused. I think it's because of the glue Kelly said, Maybe I said,  so we tried several of the stuff to make the slime work. Sadly it didn't work. 

Kelly said I gave up, this will not work. I said why? Let’s try something else. Nah said Kelly. So I just walked around to see if any of the other kids slime is working, actually it’s not only our slime is not working it's all of them. There just dumb,  and think that the slime that they made was fluffy slime but it's just playdoh.

10 Minutes and packing up time, yelled Ms Salu. So I hurried and just steal some playdoh in the floor and in the table to save it to myself. Little while later we sat down in the floor and went off to our next activity.    “That's Our Slime failure”

Orphaned...

One day in the Orphanage a girl named Bella always wanted to have a family since she was five.

She was always jealous of  the little kids that had been adopted.

So one night she prayed to god about her being adopted.

At the next day,  
the clouds was musky and car is all moist as the clouds pass by

but a car past the Orphanage and she saw  

two couples walking by the door so she ran to the stairs took a peek of the couple.

A Nun ask Bella to come down and say hello. This might be the time for Bella will be be adopted.

So, they made a choice to bring Bella to the couples home.

She was so excited she said goodbye to all  the kids in the orphanage and pack up for tomorrow.

Little while later it was night time. They all went to bed except Bella.

She was praying to God for adopting her and finally getting a family.  

At the 3rd day the couple was waiting outside to get Bella.

So, the Nun woke Bella up so she can get ready.

Few minutes later Bella went inside the car and went to her new home.

When Bella is home the couple said “Welcome” Oh wait I'll be right back, said the couple.

But when they got back they grab Bella’s hand and tie her up.

She didn't know the two couple is a criminal down in Los Angeles.

So they move to California to kidnap a girl in a orphanage.

Fiafia Night

At the last day of term 1 all of the students perform in the stage for Fiafia. The students have different groups to perform, I was in ukulele. Before Fiafia night we all rehearse every Thursday. By the way the Fiafia night started at 7:00 But I went there at 6:30 to change for the night.

When it started I felt so nervous because heaps of people is there watching me. So I took a deep breath and relax. I was lucky because our group was the twelve to perform. Not only that it was raining and it was freezing cold. Good thing we had a blanket to snuggle us up. After that it was time to get up the stage and perform.

I was scared because Im gonna talk to the whole school since the boy of our group wasn't there.    

Next we went of the stage and went home suddenly the rain got harder and harder. so we ran. then I ate some noodles for dinner. Finally I went to bed.

This night was a crazy night and a cold one too. It was fun and its even fun to watch. So that what happen the Fiafia night.

How to save money?

How to save money?- By Sophia Saving money is very important for all of us. In my family we love to save money. When I grow up I would like to manage my finances well. So, I'm already starting to budget my money from now on. There are different tips of how to save money. One example is to set your goal. Most of us want something but we can’t afford it. What we need is to have a conserve goal. For example, I want to buy a Baby G watch and that cost $150 and I only have $50 so i need $100 more. So, for me to be able to do that , I need to save up. Another tip is to budget and only buy important things. For example, I want a pair of black shoes. I need to ask myself , Do I need this? Is this important? Then I will realize it's not. So before I will buy something, I will think about it first. Remember it is better to save, so in times of need, you will have something Finally, Use less power. I know some of us forget to turn off the lights before you leave. That's normal but not many times. Most of the people here don't have enough money to pay the bills for your electricity. Therefore don’t forget to turn off the lights before you leave your house or your room. Remember less power, less money. When we get older we will have problems to earn money and save money. Why will we have problems to earn or save money in the future? Well As we grow up problems appears to our brain. One of that problem is to save and earn money. When we finish University we can’t buy a house and buy other stuff we need without saving money.

Kia Ora My name is Sophia and I'm a year 7 here at Pt England School. My teachers are Mr Wiseman, my home class and literacy teacher. Ms Tapuke, my maths teacher. During the week we have learn a lot of stuff. In maths weave learn about multiplication, division, addition, subtraction and square root. At first Square root is kinda hard for me but now I got it a lot. It is very different for me here in team 5 but im kinda getting used to it. In literacy and Reading we learn about visualising the story it really help me a lot. For sure it will be more fun next term and the term after until term 4.
